An unassuming often unnoticed pub once popular with lunchtime and early evening drinkers. Closed permanently in 2016 and planning permission was granted to convert the existing into a new residential building.

The Works comprised the retention of the existing public house with alterations to the existing façade and erection of an additional storey on top, erection of two-storey house to the west and three storey building to the north in connection with the provision of 9 residential units at 270 Cavendish Road.

The building is within a Conservation area.
